It's a Man-Bag, Dammit
Now just a little bag
Putting everything in my pockets
Made my trousers sag
It is called a Man-Bag
Never a Man’s Purse
Some folks split the difference
They call it a Murse
I carry things that I might need
As I get around
Things at home won’t help me
If I'm on the other side of town
Wallet, car keys, phone and knife
Are a basic need
Can’t forget the Kindle
Might have some time to read
Air Pods, pen and notepad
Med cards, breath mints, sunglasses
Hand sanitizer, wipes and mask
For mingling with the masses
Women do this all the time
They always take their purse
The two just go together
Like a doctor and a nurse
For some crazy reason
Some think it’s funny for a man
To carry a purse-like pouch
On his shoulder or in his hand
It’s just being practical
Not to cause a chuckle
Cause getting around without your stuff
Is like a belt that needs a buckle
Men, if you haven’t tried one yet
And your pants, they tend to sag
Don’t hesitate, don’t put it off
Get yourself a bag . . . Man-Bag, Dammit
