Murder trial in South Carolina
Wrapped up yesterday 
Alex Murdaugh was found guilty 
Jury had the final say

 

Convicted of a double murder

Killed his younger son and wife

Minimum sentence 30 years

He got two times his life

 

He said he didn’t kill them

He wasn’t even there

But a video in his dead son’s phone

Proved to be a snare

 

When confronted with that video

Had to admit that he had lied

But he said when he left there

No one he knew had died

 

He said you must believe me

Sure, I told past stories short and tall

But you can’t hold that against me

I’m a lawyer, after all

 

This sad and tragic story

Has come to an end

And Murdaugh will spend his life 

In a South Carolina Pen

Thinking about downsizing   We’re getting to that point   Where we don’t need all this room Maybe it’s time to leave this joint   Forty-five hundred square feet Of which we live in less than half What will we do with all our stuff?
